For my birthday, I requested a canning starter kit. (I have been dieing to learn and thought that there would be no better time to learn something new.) Yesterday, my neighbor invited me over for dinner and to learn how to can blueberry jam...her daughters favorite. I am not as intimidated as I once was. Taris wants me to get to cracking so that I can mail him his own stash. Maybe I will be adventurous this weekend. I did capture a few pictures of the evening...testing out the lens again.
