Hawaiian Lawn Mower

We sold our lawn mower and put our weed eater/edger in storage.  (You see, most of the houses that we came across for rent seemed to come with lawn care so I wasn't all that worried about bringing anything with us.)  Well, there are two unique things about the house that we picked...1.no lawn care included, 2.no washer and dryer.  (This is one of the only places that did not offer either of these...go figure!)  We did get lucky.  There is a shed in the back yard area and miraculously there is a lawn mower back there.  Now, before you get all excited, let me warn you that it is NOT your normal lawn mower.  This bad boy is OLD SCHOOL.  It is of the push design of the 1950's.  I used it for the first time today.  Wow!  Does it give you a workout!  Definitely very adventurous for me.  One more thing to make this move that much more unique!

Isn't she a beauty!

And because I haven' t posted any pictures of the girls...especially not at the new house...

Aloha!

I have been here for one week today and the Internet is officially connected....as in five minutes ago and the tech is still here!  Now that I have joined back up with civilization and have no house to unpack  (at least three more weeks) I will be catching up on the blog...I promise!

Fun at Gram's

Everyone went to Gram's house (my mom) for dinner.  The kids had such a great time playing with each other.

Mason loves all things boy.  But he really loves planes and cars.

Tucker is holding my lens cap in his hand.

I was trying to catch a picture of him and he was trying to help me by putting
the cap on.  He is just brilliant!

Wanted to show how big Kendall was to Tucker.
Kendall: age 2, Tucker: age 1.  Wow!

Mason loves Kendall and wants her to play with him all the time.  She loves
his airplanes and sometimes is OK with playing with him.

Fire in Ranger

On our way to my mom's house, we came across a huge brush fire on Ranger Hill.  You could see the scorched earth from the highway.  It was super close.  Traffic was really slow, so I was able to catch some pictures of the land...post-burn.

Dress Up

Kendall LOVES playing dress-up,  She is so her mother's daughter...and most definitely a Byers.  She is also very good at convincing her very gullible Autie E to participate.  Kendall picked out a pink and black tutu and safari hat and insisted that I put it on.  Needless to say, the little tutu was NEVER going to fit my waste, but it did fit my neck!  The things we do for the kids we love.
